Through the use of biographical work, we will study the progress of women in the legal profession. Our focus will be on how women lawyers have contributed to and been shaped by the movements for equal rights in the society and in the profession. Readings are from the Women's Legal History Website. Each student will contribute a biographical chapter to the website and present it to the class.
